Basic interest in “how stuff works” combined with an interest in math & science.
What are some fun and interesting facts about your life with which students might identify?
My family immigrated from Mexico. I was a non-native English speaker, so I had to learn English. I am the first in my family to graduate from college and the first to receive a doctoral degree.
What other other things should students know about you?
I love being a life-long learner. There is always something new to learn.
